Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior JavaScript Developer with a demonstrable passion for successful agile software delivery to join our public sector client on a 12-month contract. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively within a team and is based in London or Manchester, with the expectation of being onsite one day per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality JavaScript code, ensuring robust and scalable solutions
• Utilize Scripting languages such as PowerShell or BeanShell to automate tasks and enhance functionalities
• Manage the full lifecycle of software delivery, focusing on automation, repeatability, and efficiency.
• Employ TDD practices to ensure software quality and maintainability, ensuring tests are decoupled from external systems.
• Integrate JavaScript solutions with various systems using RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging, and database technologies.
• Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of the public sector client.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to continuous improvement and iterative development processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in JavaScript development, including frameworks such as Node.js, React, or Angular.
• Proficient in Scripting languages such as PowerShell or BeanShell.
• Strong experience in managing the full lifecycle of software delivery with an emphasis on automation and repeatability.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging, and database integration.
